Job summary

University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is seeking a Custodial Lead to supervise cleaning of offices, classrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, and building common areas, including snow/ice removal in winter. The role requires reliable attendance and the ability to lead a team within Building Services.

The position is night shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) with a salary of $36,300 plus a 6% shift differential. Benefits include health, dental, life and disability insurance, tuition waivers for employees

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate to be able to perform job duties.
• At least one year of experience in housekeeping.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standings.
• At least one year of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of offices, classrooms, and common areas (vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, trash removal).
• Snow/ice removal during winter months.
• Assist Coordinator of Housekeeping leading a team.
• Regular, reliable attendance and ability to maintain harmonious working relationships.
