Job summary

The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, is seeking a Custodian I in Building Services for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM–7:00 AM) under a work-study arrangement.

This on-campus role cleans offices, classrooms, and common areas, operates vacuums, carpet extractors, and floor buffers, and handles snow/ice removal; salary is $31,200 plus a 12% shift differential. Sponsorship is not available; applicants must be eligible for work-study.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean areas in and around office buildings, classrooms, and common areas.
• Vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, and empty trash; use carpet extractor and floor buffer.
• Assist with snow/ice removal during winter months; maintain cleanliness of facilities.
• Attend work reliably and maintain collegial working relationships.
