Job summary

Golden State Foods in Burleson, TX is hiring a Cup Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM). Run multiple packaging lines, monitor weights, and uphold safety and product quality across operations.

You will document production data, perform routine changeovers, and collaborate with team members to minimize downtime. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months experience in manufacturing or similar setting.
• Ability to read production documents and safety instructions.
• Ability to stand 7+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate 6+ packaging systems (W25-1/2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, 12-up, 6-up fillers).
• Load film carts and rolls correctly; monitor and adjust for continuous operation.
• Select appropriate packaging materials (boxes, labels, date coding).
• Adjust machine settings to maintain target product weights.
• Execute standard changeovers with team members to limit downtime.
• Perform minor mechanical troubleshooting independently.
• Document production data (logs, downtime, metal detection results).
• Clean, rinse, sanitize equipment using COP/CIP methods.
• Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout; identify emergency stops.
• Maintain compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
