Job summary

Orlando Health is hiring a CT Tech II for the Crossroads ED in St. Petersburg, FL. The role requires 2+ years CT experience, Florida RT licensure, and current BLS certification. The certified technologist will perform CT imaging and related procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality images in a busy emergency setting.

The position is full-time, night shift, 3 x 12s, with patient care and training responsibilities as part of a radiology team.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years CT experience mandatory.
• Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current AHA BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ARRT (R) and (CT) or NMTCB CT/NMTCB CNMT credentials required.
• SUM: ensure site proctor/preceptor for onboarding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging and related procedures for accurate interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and regulatory requirements.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Operate imaging modalities and document clinical information accurately.
• Supervise students and train new technologists.
