Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital seeks a CT Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging with a focus on high-quality CT procedures and patient safety. The role will require adherence to radiation safety principles and quality control standards.

You'll work nights, in St Petersburg, with a schedule that supports overnight coverage and patient care excellence. The candidate should have CT experience, ARRT/NMTCB credentials where applicable, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Minimum two (2) years CT experience.
• Experience in advanced imaging: 3D Lab/IR imaging or Cardiac imaging.
• Valid Florida licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current AHA BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ARRT CT or NMTCB CT certification, or NMTCB CNMT with CT certification, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Exercise professional judgment in service delivery and maintain a quality-care demeanor.
• Deliver appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring procedure success.
• Comply with state and federal regulations for each modality.
• Adhere to Orlando Health mission statements and strategic imperatives.
• Assess patient condition and age-specific needs.
• Provide instructions to achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
• Proper patient identification and documentation of history.
