Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, acquire quality images, and assist with CT-guided procedures. You will coordinate with nurses, physicians, and radiologists to ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency.

The role requires ARRT credential, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS; we offer a night shift schedule, biweekly 60 hours, and competitive benefits including tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program required.
• ARRT Radiology credential or eligibility required.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT Team.
