Job summary

Baptist Neighborhood Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging at a night shift in a small-format hospital setting. The role requires safe operation of imaging equipment, adherence to policy, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and support staff.

Qualified candidates will have AMA-approved Radiology Technology training, ARRT radiography certification, and preferred CT and ER experience with current BLS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred
• 1+ years of CT experience, preferred
• 1+ years of emergency room experience, preferred
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing, required
• ARRT certification in radiography, required
• ARRT certification in computed tomography, preferred
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required
• Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, PACS familiarity

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and staff
• Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including X-Ray, CT, PACS
• Perform imaging exams per policies; notify on-duty physician of results
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician/nurse direction
• Maintain documentation, logs, and records in paper and electronic formats
• Travel to all facility locations as required
• Attend staff meetings and other mandated meetings
• Perform additional duties as assigned
