Job summary

Baptist Neighborhood Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, maintaining records, and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure timely, accurate results. Requires ARRT certification and an AMA-approved radiology program; CT certification preferred or obtained within 12 months. On-site role in Zarzamora area with standard shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology required.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiology preferred.
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state.
• CT Certification preferred; CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market).
• Registered Technologist with ARRT in radiography required; ARRT CT registration preferred.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
• 1+ years CT experience preferred.
• 1+ years ER experience preferred.
• Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, hardware/software and PACS.
• Fluency in English; written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide imaging services (X-ray, CT) and basic patient care under supervision.
• Operate imaging department equipment and PACS; notify physician on duty of results.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control on imaging equipment.
• Travel to facility locations as required; attend staff meetings and perform additional duties.
