Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for night shift to perform CT and X-ray imaging at a small-format hospital. The role requires operating all imaging equipment, maintaining patient care, documentation, and adherence to policy and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have AMA-approved radiology training, ARRT radiography registration, BLS, and 2+ years imaging experience with CT and ER exposure preferred. Travel to multiple facility locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology, preferred.
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist by the practicing state.
• ARRT registered in radiography required; CT ARRT preferred with specific market exceptions.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
• 1+ years CT experience preferred; 1+ years ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and staff.
• Operate imaging dept equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams according to policies and notify physician on duty of results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician/nurse direction.
• Maintain documentation, logs, forms and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Maintain reagents and supplies to perform quality testing; perform QC and proficiency testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on imaging equipment as established.
• Travel to facility locations as required; attend meetings as required.
