Job summary

Qualifications

• CRT certification required; BCLS and ACLS/PALS certifications required.
• NICU certifications (NRP/STABLE) may be required for NICU roles.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred (1–2 years).
• Proficient in EMR documentation and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Monitors patient responses and documents findings accurately.
• Manages ventilator settings and airway maintenance.
• Performs assessments and follows treatment plans.
• Ensures infection control and PPE usage in all procedures.
• Communicates with care team and family as needed.

BCLS - Basic Life Support

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation (NICU)
