Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is hiring a Patient Care Technician for night shifts on a part-time basis. The role provides patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, supports clinical operations and maintains a safe, clean environment.

Required qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support (BLS) and EMT certifications. Prior bedside care and PCT experience are preferred. Pay range listed is $19.38–$31.01 per hour.

Qualifications

• BLS and EMT certifications required.
• 1+ PCT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per policy, delivering patient care appropriate to age, mobility, and acuity.
• Responds to clinical emergencies appropriately.
• Supports quality standards and improvement initiatives.
• Follows isolation guidelines and safety protocols.
• Shows willingness to learn and upgrade skills.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• Maintains clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assists in delivering patient care under RN direction.
• Documents procedures per department policy.
• Obtains nursing history and flags abnormalities to RN.
• Assists in identifying patient needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
