Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for the MICU Cohort 50. This full-time night-shift position (7:00pm–7:00am) involves caring for critically ill adults 18+, coordinating care, educating families, and contributing to research within a high-acuity unit.

The role requires passing a National Nursing Licensure and at least 1 year of relevant hospital experience. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to advancing patient care and safety in a leading academic

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient’s care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually uses the nursing process to evaluate patient progress towards goals and apply interventions.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
