Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Clinical Research Center night shift on a 36-hour/week schedule. The role involves caring for inpatients and outpatients, with shifts 3-12 hours and occasional weekend coverage.

ACLS/BLS are required, and biotherapy infusion and clinical research training will be provided. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of medical-surgical experience and a strong attention to detail, patient observation, and vital signs monitoring.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
• 1 year of experience.
• Registered Nurse Licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certification are required.
• Biotherapy infusion training will be provided as well as specialized research training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
