Job summary

St. Mary’s Health Care System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 12 Hour Night Shift (7p-7a). The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a focus on advocacy, safety, and evidence-based practice. Strong independent judgment and teamwork are required for effective patient outcomes.

Requirements include current GA RN licensure, nursing program graduation, and benefits such as mandatory ACLS/PALS within the first year. Night-shift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Graduation from an NLM accredited school of nursing.
• One year of recent Registered Nursing experience preferred (within the past five years).
• Current BCLS. ACLS, & PALS/ENPC mandatory (required within 1st year of employment). TNCC preferred.
• Is able to function independently w/ minimal supervision and directs patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care during Night shift 7pm–7am.
• Serve as a resource for staff and provide patient advocacy while navigating hospital systems.
