Job summary

Southeast Health in Dothan, AL seeks a Critical Care Registered Nurse to apply the nursing process in NCCU/CCU settings. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill adults, across age groups, while supporting the hospital's mission and policies.

The role requires a BSN or ASN, current Alabama RN license, ACLS, BLS, and stroke certification within hire, plus ICU experience and Windows PC proficiency. Night shifts, 0.9 FTE.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of Alabama.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or completion within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of institutional Intermediate EKG course or equivalent.
• Stroke certification or completion within hire.
• Experience with critical care procedures as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in a Critical Care Unit (NCCU/CVICU/CCU).
• Actively supports the mission, vision, and values of Southeast Health.
• Care for infants to geriatric patients according to policy and procedures.
