Southeast Health in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients across age groups, following hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support or within 3 months of hire.
• Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Successful completion of institutional Intermediate EKG Course.
• Successful completion of institutional Critical Care Course if no prior CC experience.
• Stroke requirements completed.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients in CCU (e.g., NCCU, CVICU, CCU).
• Provide care age groups from infant to geriatric per hospital policies and procedures.
• Support the hospital mission, vision and values while delivering high-quality patient care.
