Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients (NCCU/CVICU/CCU).

The nurse will support the hospital’s mission and adhere to established policies, spanning all age groups from infant to geriatric. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid Alabama RN license and complete required ACLS/BCLS/ICU-specific certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Alabama (state license).
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• ACLS, BCLS, EKG and Critical Care course completion as specified.
• Stroke protocol completion required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for ICU patients.
• Use the nursing process across age groups from infant to geriatric.
• Support the hospital’s mission, vision, and policies in care delivery.
• Document and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in the ICU.
