Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the Critical Care Unit (NCCU/CVICU/CCU). You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients across all ages, while upholding hospital policies and the mission and values of the department.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, and English reading/writing/speaking ability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• ACLS/BLS certifications or completion within 3 months of hire.
• Intermediate EKG course completion.
• Critical Care course if no prior CC experience.
• Stroke requirements must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in Critical Care Units.
• Provide care for diverse age groups (infants to geriatrics) per policy.
• Support mission, vision, and values of the hospital and department.
