Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. The RN will provide care across trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology units within a Level 1 trauma center environment.

Qualifications include ASN/ Diploma, 1+ year CCU experience, NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS, and strong communication. Night shifts and 36 hours per week are typical.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of Critical Care RN experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• NIHSS

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensure safety in practice and apply evidence-based practices.
• Report safety issues and potential hazards.
• Know the patient populations served by the unit.
• Supervise and direct task delegation to team members.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.
