Job summary

RHA Health Services is hiring a Facility Based Crisis Behavioral Health Tech for night shifts. You will provide direct support, monitor safety, and assist with activities of daily living in a crisis or residential setting. A trauma-informed, respectful environment is emphasized as you implement treatment interventions.

Responsibilities include de-escalation during crises, documentation in the EHR, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient well-being and treatment goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in behavioral health preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old; valid driver?s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supports individuals with psychiatric or co-occurring disorders and monitors safety.
• Follow care plans, safety checks, observations, and supervise activities of daily living.
• De-escalate crises, provide crisis intervention, and support therapeutic engagement.
• Document observations and interventions in the EHR; participate in team hand-offs.
• Maintain a structured, safe environment and support treatment goals.
• Participate in quality improvement and adhere to policies and infection control practices.
