Job summary

Interface, Inc. in West Point, GA is seeking a Creel MT Operator for the 3rd shift. This full-time position maintains the Creel MT unit, sets up and changes over winders, ensures accurate yarn placement, and logs order data into the CMT system. The role may rotate to serve as Yarn Prep Operator as needed.

The right candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and good verbal and written communication. Experience with Microsoft Office and prior textile work are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical concepts including fractions, decimals, and percentage preferred.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Previous textile experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify cases assigned to orders when delivered by material handlers.
• Ensure correct yarn color using QA approved yarn master.
• Enter order information into the CMT system.
• Continuously prep yarn on winders to be processed.
• Label each box of repack yarn by type, color number, and cone count.
• Maintain required production paperwork and data entry for MES/AS/400.
• Follow proper procedures for rethreading machine to ensure quality and reduce downtime.
• Audit loaded creels using creel thread-up maps for accuracy.
• Recycle scraps and minimize waste; maintain housekeeping and safety compliance.
