Job summary

Primary responsibilities include maintaining yarn flow near the creel, assisting with machine operation, and following safety procedures. Training and health safety programs are provided by Mohawk, with opportunities to grow within a Fortune 500 manufacturing leader.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes in standard English and performs basic math calculations.
• Ability to communicate and follow verbal or written instructions.
• Ability to work well with people and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Keep yarn supply close to creel to change packages efficiently.
• Remove skein/package and place full package on creel.
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running from all spindles.
• Observe creel, stop machine if needed and run up breakouts.
• Assist operator in operating machine and doffing rolls of carpet.
• Work within a team environment.
• Perform daily autonomous maintenance activities.
• Participate in the Quality Improvement Process.
• Attend job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
