The successful candidate will operate C-Cure, D-Boss/Site Pass, and BioConnect security tools, monitor CCTV, complete incident reports, and coordinate with the operations team. A NYS Security Guard License and overnight availability are required.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License required.
• Overnight availability required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Familiarity with access control systems preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate security technology and computer-based systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility.
• Use C-Cure access control systems to open doors, manage badge access, and create badges.
• Use D-Boss/Site Pass to read, understand, and process tickets authorizing access.
• Use BioConnect system to update and add fingerprints to badges for biometric readers.
• Monitor CCTV systems diligently and remain vigilant for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Ensure all visitors are properly checked in and authorized before granting access.
• Use an intercom system to communicate professionally with visitors requiring access.
• Communicate effectively with the operations team via radio.
• Enforce site security policies, procedures, and access control protocols.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow Security Officers, management, and client personnel.
• Utilize Slack for workplace communication and messaging.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook for daily administrative and security tasks.
