Securitas USA is seeking an Overnight Security Officer in Orangeburg, NY, to protect a secure corporate environment. You will be responsible for guarding the facility and ensuring safety for employees and visitors.

The role requires operating access-control systems (C-Cure, D-Boss), biometrics (BioConnect), CCTV monitoring, and strong customer-service skills. Overnight availability and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid NY Security Guard license.
High school diploma or GED required.
Overnight availability required, including weekends and holidays.
Prior security or access-control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility.
Use C-Cure access control systems to open doors, manage badge access, and create badges.
Use D-Boss/Site Pass to read, understand, and process tickets authorizing access to the site.
Use BioConnect to update fingerprints to badges for biometric access.
Monitor CCTV systems and stay vigilant for unusual activity.
Ensure all visitors are checked in and authorized before access.
Use intercom to communicate with visitors requiring access.
Communicate with operations team via radio.
Enforce site security policies and access control protocols.
Respond to incidents and emergencies appropriately.
Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports.
Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.
Collaborate with fellow Security Officers, management, and client personnel.
Utilize Slack for workplace communication.
Utilize Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook for admin tasks.
Maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment at all times.
