Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License is required.
• High school diploma or GED or proof of education is required.
• Security experience preferred.
• Experience with access control systems preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate security tech and computer-based systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Outlook).
• Familiarity with Slack or similar messaging platforms.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to the location.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility.
• Use C-Cure for door access, badge creation, and access management.
• Operate D-Boss/Site Pass to read tickets authorizing access.
• Update fingerprints in BioConnect for biometric readers.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to unusual activity.
• Check in and authorize all visitors before entry.
• Interact professionally via intercom with visitors requiring access.
• Communicate with operations team via radio.
• Enforce security policies and access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; prepare incident reports.
• Provide professional service to employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Collaborate with Security Officers, management, and client personnel.
• Use Slack for workplace communication; perform daily admin tasks.
