Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking an Overnight Security Officer for a secure corporate environment in Orangeburg, NY. The role requires overnight availability, including weekends and holidays, with a pay rate of $23.00/hr.

You will monitor access, operate multiple security systems, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Ideal candidates have a NY State Security Guard License and a High School Diploma or GED, with prior security experience preferred.

Qualifications

Must have New York State Security Guard License and High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility.
Use C-Cure access control systems to open doors, manage badge access, and create badges.
Use D-Boss/Site Pass to read, understand, and process tickets authorizing access to the site.
Use BioConnect to update and add fingerprints to badges for biometric readers.
Monitor CCTV systems diligently and respond to unusual or suspicious activity.
Check in and authorize visitors before granting access.
Communicate with operations via radio; enforce site security policies.
Prepare incident reports; provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors.
Collaborate with Security Officers, management, and client personnel.
Use Slack for workplace communication; use Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook for tasks.
