Job summary

EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure in East Mesa is seeking a Core Operations Technician (COT) for a 24/7 night-shift role. You will monitor data center conditions, lead vendor activities, and help shape EdgeCore’s operational playbook to drive reliability and safety.

Ideal candidates have 2–7 years in a critical facility with electrical/mechanical experience; OSHA10, NFPA70E, and First Aid/CPR are a plus. The role requires hands-on tool use and teamwork in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in a critical facility or related environment.
• Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, automation, HVAC, or manufacturing fields.
• Experience with electrical systems, power distribution, generators, UPS, or switchgear preferred.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• NFPA70E, forklift, OSHA10, and First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data center conditions; proactively detect issues and intervene safely.
• Oversee daily vendor activities to ensure safe, accurate work per standards.
• Contribute feedback to the operations playbook and SOP improvements.
• Support 24/7 operations, including night shifts and on-call duties when needed.
• Work with CMMS to document work orders and track assets and tools.
