Job summary

NIBCO in Stuarts Draft, Virginia is hiring a Cell Team 10 Operator for a 12-hour night shift (6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.).

The role focuses on safely manufacturing copper fittings, primarily operating hydro-presses and related machinery, with emphasis on quality and efficiency. You will set up and operate manual and automated equipment, maintain a clean work area, and be prepared to work in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read measurement tools (including plug and ring gages, as well as micrometers and calipers).
• Ability to understand and follow all applicable safety policies
• Ability to understand and follow standard work practices

Responsibilities

• Operate manually-fed and automated machinery – safely start, support, troubleshoot, maintain, and clean assigned equipment.
• Inspect fittings to quality standards using gages, calipers and micrometers.
• Clean up of work area and surrounding spaces daily to maintain a safe environment.
• Flow to available work and be prepared to move to other areas as needed.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and participate in safety initiatives.
