Job summary

NIBCO is seeking a Saw Operator for a 12-hour day shift (6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) at our Stuarts Draft, Virginia facility.

The role focuses on safely manufacturing copper tubing to meet quality specs, by setting up and operating equipment in the cost center 380 Saws and performing related duties. Responsibilities include operating saws and crane, loading/unloading, inspecting tubes with gauges, calipers and micrometers, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws and crane, load/unload 3 auto saws and cut copper into blanks.
• Inspect tubes to quality specifications using gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area around machinery.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Support safety initiatives and committees.
