Job summary

Nibco Inc. in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, seeks a Cell Team Operator for the 18 Beading line on a 12-hour night shift (6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.). The role focuses on safely operating machines, setting up equipment, and maintaining quality copper fittings.

You will inspect parts with gauges, read micrometers and calipers, keep a clean work area, and support safety initiatives while rotating to other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating heavy manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to accurately read measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Follow safety policies and standard work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate manually-fed and automated machinery, start up, troubleshoot, maintain, and clean equipment.
• Inspect fittings using gages and calipers to meet quality specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area around machinery.
• Flow to available work and support other departments as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and participate in safety initiatives.
