Job summary

NIBCO in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, is seeking a Drawbench Operator for the 12-hour D2 Night shift (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM). The role focuses on safely manufacturing copper tubing to meet internal and customer quality specs, mainly by setting up and operating draw-bench equipment and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will inspect tube quality with gauges, micrometers, and calipers, and may work in other areas as needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to accurately read measurement tools including gauges, micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies and standard work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate draw-bench and supporting equipment, crane and related tools as needed.
• Inspect copper tubing to internal and customer quality specs using gauges, micrometers and calipers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area around machinery and adjacent spaces.
• Flow to available work and assist in other manufacturing areas as required by production.
