Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Maintenance Technician I – Conveyor Systems in Commerce, CA. The role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and repairing conveyor systems to ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, part replacement, and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards. Requires 1+ year experience in mechanical/electrical work and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• GED preferred.
• 1+ years in mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
• High voltage electrical experience required.
• Current Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on conveyor systems.
• Replace parts, rebuild and align gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.
• Consult illustrated parts breakdown and manuals for repairs.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and conduct daily machine inspections.
• Respond to after-hours requests to keep MHS systems at optimum capacity.
• Uphold safety policies as part of the company safety program.
