Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician to repair and program PLCs, HMIs, and robotics in a climate-controlled facility near I-57. The role focuses on maintaining production equipment, improving mean time between failures, and supporting production uptime.

The ideal candidate has PLC/Ladder logic experience, familiarity with RS Logix 500/5000, and a willingness to work a 6:45pm–7:15am night shift on a rotating cycle. Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of electrical experience and PLC/Ladder Logic programming.
• Experience with FANUC robots is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work night shift cycles.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including conveyors, robotics, and vision systems.
• Program Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and networked devices.
• Engineer MTBF improvements and drive reliability.
• Grow skills through on-the-job training and cross-functional experiences.
