Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is hiring a skilled technician to maintain and repair industrial machinery in a high-growth manufacturing environment. You will leverage RS Logix PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and networked systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The role requires 5+ years of electrical and mechanical experience, 3+ years PLC programming, and strong troubleshooting abilities, with physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds. AAS/AS or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years electrical and mechanical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including motors, pneumatic and conveyance systems.
• Program Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Vision Systems and networking.
• Engineer MTBF improvements for production equipment.
