Skillforce is hiring experienced Controls Engineers for a 1-2 month automation and controls project in Lafayette, IN. The role requires Rockwell Studio 5000 v38 experience and strong Allen-Bradley PLC programming skills.

Position involves night shift in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Per diem and mileage reimbursement are offered for traveling candidates, with comprehensive benefits provided by the employer.

Qualifications

Rockwell Studio 5000 v38 experience is required.
Strong Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
Hands-on experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot controls issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

Program, troubleshoot, modify, and optimize PLC control systems.
Troubleshoot automation and controls issues in a manufacturing environment.
Support automated material handling, transfer, and production systems.
Diagnose electrical and controls issues to minimize equipment downtime.
Calibrate and integrate sensors, transducers, and other control devices.
Assist with system startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and modifications.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC programs, and control system documentation.
Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to identify and resolve controls-related issues.
