Job summary

Integrity Resources is seeking an Automation & Controls Engineer for a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE role. Responsible for completing automation and controls efforts across multiple projects from design through commissioning.

This position combines PLC/HMI programming, system design, project coordination, and field support. You will lead project scope development, interpret P&IDs, coordinate with panel shops and field teams, and develop robust control architectures using Rockwell Studio 5000, CompactLogix,

Qualifications

• Experience in automation and controls across multiple projects.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, specifications, and cause-and-effect documents.
• Collaborates with panel shop, design, fabrication, and field teams.
• Proven PLC/HMI development experience across AB, Emerson, and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scope across multiple concurrent projects.
• Serve as primary controls contact for internal teams and customers.
• Interpret P&IDs, specifications, and cause & effect documents.
• Coordinate with panel shop, design, fabrication, and field teams.
• Program PLCs and develop HMIs.
• Design control sequences, interlocks, and alarms.
• Build reusable logic and integrate devices via Ethernet/IP/Modbus.
