A global automotive technology company based in Alabama is seeking a Controls Engineer to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime. The role involves programming PLCs, maintaining machinery systems, and collaborating with other departments. Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience with ControlLogix PLCs and understanding of ladder logic.
• Experience in programming of HMI’s (PanelView, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software/hardware changes to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to resolve problems.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors.

Skills

Programming PLCs (ControlLogix, MicroLogix, CompactLogix)

HMI programming (PanelView)

Experience with automation equipment (Fanuc / ABB Robots)

Electric torque control equipment (Atlas Copco / Stanley)
