Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Night Shift Construction Manager to lead on-site oversight at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), representing the owner and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on a major civil/structural/transportation program.

Responsibilities include reviewing resources and schedules, handling RFIs and change orders, resolving nonconformances, and reporting progress to senior management while maintaining policy compliance.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• 15+ years in large civil/structural or transportation (airport/transit) projects.
• Proven Owners Representative experience with strong client-facing skills.
• Demonstrated managerial capability on complex projects and clear written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Review Developer’s resources (manpower, materials, equipment) and monitor progress.
• Ensure compliance with design/construction requirements and policies.
• Issue and track nonconformance notices and drive resolution.
• Review work plans, RFIs, submittals, change orders and tickets.
• Anticipate issues, manage scope changes and schedule slippage; report progress.
• Ensure safety and quality control on-site and adherence to procedures.
