Job summary

LAWA is seeking a Night Shift Area Resident Manager to oversee active construction across CTA terminals and AOA areas. The role ensures ASR compliance, barricade and signage integrity, and coordination with Airport Operations, Police, and TDG Safety/Inspections.

The position requires extensive construction management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate complex topics to diverse teams while maintaining safety in a high-activity airport environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 20 years of construction management field experience.
• Minimum of three years of airport experience or five years in other critical environments.
• Ability to assume responsibilities beyond those outlined above.
• Proven accuracy, reliability, and priority-setting in completing tasks.
• Demonstrated planning, organizing and leadership in prior roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to perform under pressure on high-profile assignments.
• Understand design and construction intent of projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Nightly Huddle at 2330 hours with Airport Operations support.
• Distribute Roadway Bulletin and Daily Roadway Map to Nightly Huddle attendees.
• Perform site checks at CTA, terminals, AOA; verify ASR, barricades, signage, and deliveries.
• Coordinate with Safety & Inspection on scheduled work and ASR compliance.
• Capture photos of active construction and set up labeled documentation.
• Produce and share a nightly report with narrative and photos.
• Post Nightly Reports to CALMSHARE and save to V Drive; distribute to stakeholders.
• Ensure barricades and signage for all public area work per ASR.
