Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to join our field team in Florida. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on repairing cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• About 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or related military service.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Overnight travel may be required occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related equipment.
• Read diagrams and schematics to guide repairs and maintenance.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification.
• Consult with Technical Assistance Group for on-site support.
• Install ordered parts promptly and professionally per policy.
• Produce accurate work orders, time reporting, receipts, and inventory records.
• Maintain neat, organized service vehicle and track parts/tools inventory.
