Job summary

ATI is hiring a Turning Impression for its Die Room in Cudahy, Wisconsin, on a fourth shift (11:00pm–7:00am, Sunday–Thursday). You will operate turning centers to produce specialized aerospace components and ensure part conformance. Training will start on first shift.

You’ll interpret programs, set offsets, read drawings, and measure using gauges to maintain quality and safety while collaborating with fellow CNC machinists and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with machining is required.
• Programming experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets program to install all tools and establish offsets.
• Performs complete machining of first piece and verifies dimensions.
• Uses gauges and measuring devices to check conformance.
• Reads basic technical drawings/blueprints to meet specs.
• Measures dimensions and maintains machining records.
• Uses micrometers, dial indicators, Vernier scales, and profilometers to verify finishes.
• Handles material with care before and after machining.
