Job summary

ATI in Appleton, WI is seeking a CNC Machinist/Machine Operator to run vertical turning centers for aerospace components in a climate-controlled shop with state-of-the-art equipment.

This is a 3rd shift position (Mon-Thu 10 PM–8 AM) with a $1/hour shift differential. Training may occur on day shift. You will learn ATI processes and work with cross-functional teams to ensure parts meet specs.

Qualifications

• Basic machining principles and measurement understanding required.
• Reads drawings and instructions; performs basic measurements.
• Pre-employment evaluation required.
• HVAC or related training is not specified; proceed with basics.
• Strong focus on safety, precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Read work instructions and setup sheets for operations.
• Interpret dimensions and tolerances from drawings.
• Operate machining centers with support from engineering.
• Use measuring devices to verify machined dimensions.
• Load/unload parts with overhead hoist; handle material carefully.
