Job summary

Progress Rail Services Corp. in Sherman, TX is seeking a CNC Operator for the night shift to machine rail parts and turnout components. You will read specifications, measure accuracy with precision tools, and move materials using overhead cranes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years machinist/CNC machine operator experience.
• Ability to multitask and work with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect rail using measuring devices.
• Must be quality oriented and a team player.
• Must have complete understanding of safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to machine parts and rail according to specifications.
• Use measuring devices to determine accuracy and to mark all rail accordingly.
• Operate overhead cranes.
