Job summary

The Bernard Group, Inc. in Chanhassen, MN is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator for the night shift. You will set up and operate a CNC machine to produce precision parts and verify measurements to meet specifications.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, a two-year technical or trade school diploma, and about three years of CNC experience in manufacturing. Must lift 50 lbs, be detail-oriented, and proficient with Pace and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical or trade school diploma preferred.
• Three years CNC experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Configure the CNC by entering instructions, set tool registers, offset and conditional switches.
• Load machine with work pieces.
• Verify settings by measuring the positions, first run part and sample workpieces.
• Maintain specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions and troubleshooting processes.
• Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures to meet Company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance of the CNC.
• Complete miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management.
