Job summary

Precise Tool & Manufacturing Inc. in Rochester is seeking a skilled CNC Operator for the Night Shift to run and monitor CNC Mills, verify part quality, and support first-piece inspections.

You will read blueprints, set up machines, deburr parts, measure with calipers and micrometers, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following AS9100 guidelines and the company Quality Management System. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of CNC milling experience;

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience operating CNC Mills.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Adhere to safety rules and maintain clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints; prepare machines for production.
• Perform basic machine setup per specifications and work orders.
• Operate CNC Mills and monitor performance; verify part quality.
• Follow instructions to produce required quantities.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and adhere to guarding rules.
• Deburr parts using hand tools and verify with gauges.
• Move materials using pallet jack as needed.
• Support Quality Management System and AS9100 compliance.
