Job summary

Snap-on in Elkmont, Alabama is hiring a full-time Machine Operator to set up and operate manual and CNC machines in a climate-controlled plant, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires reading blueprints, measuring parts, and maintaining quality standards, with shifts Sunday-Thursday 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Central, overtime possible.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and 1–3 years manufacturing experience; teamwork and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and quality specs.
• Attention to detail and strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machines to start a production cycle.
• Operate both manual and CNC machines.
• Read blueprints and shop orders to determine setup and sequence.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers and gauges for conformance.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and adhere to procedures.
