Job summary

CMI Group in Tempe, AZ is seeking CNC Operators for the night shift. You will load materials into machines, run programs, and perform daily maintenance while inspecting parts and updating tooling as needed. The role requires reading drawings, basic inspection, and familiarity with CNC codes.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machines and ability to read part drawings and tolerances.
• Proficient in basic inspection and measurement techniques.
• Understanding of CNC codes and tool offsets is preferred.
• Ability to perform machine maintenance tasks and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load material/parts into CNC machines and run programs.
• Perform daily machine maintenance and cleanup.
• Conduct in-process inspection of parts.
• Make minor program changes, primarily tool offsets.
• Replace worn or damaged tooling (inserts, bars, end mills, drills).
• Sign off paperwork accompanying parts (MOT, Traveler).
• Ensure proper handling and traceability of parts to job numbers.
