Job summary

Dover Precision Components' Waukesha Bearings facility in Antigo, Wisconsin is seeking a Night Shift CNC Operator. You will read blueprints, set up CNC milling or lathe operations, and download/edit programs from a DNC system while applying GD&T standards to ensure precision parts.

The ideal candidate has CNC experience, G-code/CAM knowledge, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced production environment. Shift is Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:00 am, onsite at Antigo, WI.

Qualifications

• One year Machine Tool Operation certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of CNC programming languages and CAM software for toolpath creation.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine dimensional specifications, setup, and operating requirements.
• Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system.
• Set up tooling and machine operations; calculate feeds and speeds for varied materials.
• Read, edit, and write programs; understand tooling capabilities.
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments; maintain safety and lean practices.
