Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Antigo, WI is seeking a Night Shift CNC Operator to set up and run CNC mills and lathes on a fast-paced production floor. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of machine tool operation certification or equivalent experience, be proficient with G-code and CAM programming, and read blueprints with GD&T.

Qualifications

• One year Machine Tool Operation certificate or 3–6 months related experience.
• Experience operating CNC machinery (milling or lathe) in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and to use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine dimensional specifications, setup and operating requirements.
• Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system; interpret work instructions.
• Set up tooling and calculate feeds and speeds for various steel grades; read, edit or write programs.
