Job summary

Rolls-Royce is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for Large Parts at our Aiken, SC facility. You will operate HELLER CNC centers with Siemens 840D controllers, study blueprints, set up tooling, and ensure precision parts meet critical tolerances on an off-shift schedule.

Experience with CNC milling, SPC interpretation, and quality inspection is required. Relocation could be considered; Rolls-Royce emphasizes safety, teamwork, and engineering excellence in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a machining trade or 3 years in a heavy duty machining environment
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent
• Intermediate knowledge of CNC-controls (Siemens 840D preferred)
• Ability to interpret SPC and use scanning devices for QC communication

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC HELLER machining centers with Siemens 840D controllers according to instructions, routings and diagrams
• Study instructions and blueprints to determine dimensions and tooling requirements
• Set up, adjust and operate machines for precision machining
• Check and adjust precision measuring instruments according to quality plans
